Bony Thomas is a writer, illustrator, and cultural chronicler whose work documents the layered histories and everyday lives of Kochi. A founding member of the Kochi Biennale Foundation, he is the author of 'Kochikkaar: Stories from the Kochi People', an oral history project that captures the city’s cosmopolitan spirit through the voices of its diverse communities. As the illustrator of N. S. Madhavan’s 'Lanthan Batheriyile Luthiniyakal', Thomas has also brought visual texture to one of contemporary Malayalam literature’s landmark works. Through his writing and art, he maps the intersections of memory, migration, and local identity, offering an intimate portrait of a city constantly in flux.
