Daniela Moreno Wray (ECU)

Daniela Moreno Wray is an artist, entrepreneur and edible flower farmer from Cayambe, Ecuador. She studied theatre in Brazil and film in Argentina and worked in documentary cinema in Ecuador. Her interactive audiovisual installation "Transmestizx" won the Mariano Aguilera art prize in 2015. After organizing rural art workshops in 2017 she went on to found the Upayaku farm and La Divina Papaya company with her sister and mother where she currently works. In 2025 she co-organised Tinku Uku Pacha, Soil Assembly #2, and directed the Regenera program for women farmers in collaboration with Impaqto Quito.
