Daniela Zambrano Almidón (PER)
Daniela Zambrano Almidón (Lima, 1993) is a Quechua researcher and interdisciplinary artist whose practice connects art, research, and community work. Their work explores Andean economic, technological, and relational processes, as well as memory and decolonization, through performance, food practices, textiles, ceramics, video, installation, and artistic mediation. Since 2014, they have led Tejiendo Caminos, a decentralized intercultural project that brings together Indigenous community leaders, environmental activists, and traditional artists to foster dialogue through art. They have participated in international exhibitions and community-based art events across Latin America, Asia, and Europe, and currently research potatoes, history, and postcolonial modes of production while organizing cultural activities with the Peruvian community in Berlin through Todas las Sangres.
