Nora Hauswirth (CH)

Nora Hauswirth is a land-based cultural practitioner, curator and researcher working in the fields of agroecology and environmental education. She is the co-founder and coordinator of Tera Kuno Institute – Research and Mediation in Agroecology in the Brazilian Amazon. Her work connects agroforestry systems with art and nature-based pedagogy. Through participatory projects with farmers and urban communities, she investigates ecological learning processes and social knowledge production in forest-based contexts. Her approach is shaped by agroecological principles, Freirean educational methodology, and Indigenous knowledge systems.
