Sonal Jain (IND)
Sonal Jain works at the intersection of art, ecology and activism. Her practice spans social practice, natural farming, film, video, photography, curation and writing. Her work is based in research, hybrid collaborative practices, creation of spaces and alternative pedagogies. She is the co-founder of Desire Machine Collective (2004) and project Periferry.
Jain's contributions continue to shape contemporary discourse, with recent projects focusing on reclaiming an aliveness through forging an engagement with the human and more than human worlds and ecological healing.
