Nessa Cui, Independent Cultural Producer, Curator. Founder of the creative platforms DOSSIER and Qhorusium, and the education brand OrBiT Lab. Her research centers on the agency of the ritualistic body within everyday contexts. By employing performance art as a mode of intervention, she cultivates a palpable experience of presence. While championing the visions of interdisciplinary creators, Nessa is dedicated to establishing a dialogue mechanism between artistic practice and social observation, catalyzing sustained intellectual exchange within the public sphere. To date, her curated and produced projects include the More Than Human art festival (produced by DOSSIER and in collaboration with, and supported by, EUNIC (European Union National Institutes of Culture), Blanc Art Group, Choi Centre - Cloud House and other local and international partners) , 2023; When Future Meets the Past (supported by the ARTRA , China Shanghai International Arts Festival and Pro Helvetia). She also leads the ongoing long-term art project, Shanzhai Play.
